Hungry for Love

Posted: July 11, 2010 in Mission

Being in Malate this week our eyes were opened to the poverty in this city. Kids and babies are living on the streets of Malate. There are no parents around for some. It’s obvious that they don’t eat. Victory Malate Church is beginning a new feeding program on Tuesday for the hungry children called “Real Life”. Our team plans to volunteer our services. Some of the leaders in the church explained to us why there is so much poverty here. He told us there are many reasons. A few reasons are a corrupt government, impressions of life, and some choose not to go to school. Our team is growing and God is touching our hearts. God is really showing us the REAL world that we live in today.

Our outreach here is expanding by the day. We are learning to put our Mission completely in God’s Hands for it is His mission and not ours. The Victory Malate church is doing a lot of work for the Every Nations World Conference 2010. Their schedules are really busy so we’re trying to get a full schedule for us to minister on the campuses of High Schools and Colleges. We’ve met a lot of the campus ministers and leaders. One of our goals is building relationships with them so we may help them reach the unreached on their campuses.

God Bless,
Team Manila
