Opening Doors

Always believing past seeing…
That is what was proclaimed today, believing beyond seeing. It seem very unlikely that we were going to be able to get onto a campus because things have changed in the past couple years. The guards are so much more stricter now about letting people onto the campus because of past riots cause on the campuses by other kids. The first campus that we visited was De La Sal University. We were praying and believing that we will be allowed on the campus but our request was denied for a later time because it was a surprise to them.
We moved on to the next campus still in faith and not dishearten, still believing over what we were seeing. The next campus we arrived at was The Philippine Women’s University. This time we were able to get onto the campus but with a tour guide from Dr. Fiel R. Nierva who is the head of PWU marketing. He gave us the tour around the campus learning the history and the roots of the school. We just continued to wait patiently waiting for the moment where we can mingle with the students and do what we have came here to do. They took us to through their academic building, art museum, and also their cultural museum. Then finally they let us go to mingle with the student government, the door was opened.
We met the president and vice president spending time with them and speaking into their lives. Now after today the student government wants us to come back again this Wednesday for an event called Freshmen Acquaintance Party. God has given us more opportunities to reach out to the students that are unsaved. He has opened more doors and as a team, we have continued to realized that it is God’s plan. It was past seeing what was in front of us but truly believing in what God has in store for us.
