Memories are…’Priceless’

If there’s one thing we can all take from this trip, it would be our stronger unity as a team. To be honest, We had to fight through many of life’s insecurities, pride, and irritations as we worked with each other daily. It is understandable and quite natural that people will get like this toward each other, especially if you’re living together and working for God’s purpose.

To our surprise, we actually connected with many of the locals here at Manila. Many of whom are leaders at their occupation. We were really blessed to be given the opportunity to work with Victory Malate Church and staff. They were able to work and fellowship aside our team these past weeks. We were then given an opportunity to give a prophetic word over the church leaders. It was a huge stretch for many of the team members and we had to take a step of faith in letting God take control and to speak to us clearly. During a prophetic word meeting, it must be given and received in faith!

Within our mission time, we were able to reach out to one major campus. There was a little discouragement at first when we kept getting turned away by some well known campuses. But with perseverance and prayer, we were able to reach the Philippine Women’s University (PWU). We went on campus in an instant and were able to meet with the campus administration, speaking with them on a one to one basis. The really cool thing about it was we got to see the first PWU students attending the Friday U-night service and getting saved! Having said that, it’s safe to say that with man, some things are impossible, but with God nothing is impossible.

Overall, our missions trip was quite an experience. One that we well definitely never forget. As we go our separate ways, it is in our prayers to keep growing in faith and not fall due to the distractions of the world. “Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.” – Matthew 13:32

This short-term mission is finally at an end. As we come together at EN2010, we pray for another powerful encounter with God and for Him to unlock His purpose and destiny in our lives and for His presence to come before us! May this be another event that will never be forgotten!

God Bless,
Team Manila
